1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Kalakaar Chowk (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. What Kalakaar Chowk Is

Kalakaar Chowk is an online marketplace that connects artists, creators and performers ("Artists") with recruiters, production houses and organisations looking to hire talent ("Recruiters"). Kalakaar Chowk is a facilitator only — we are not an employer, talent agency, or party to any agreement, booking, or payment made between Artists and Recruiters through the Platform.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. User Conduct

• Do not create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity, skills, or experience.
• Do not post content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes another person’s rights.
• Do not use the Platform to harass, discriminate against, or scam other users.
• Do not attempt to circumvent, disrupt, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform.

5. Content You Submit

You retain ownership of the profile information, portfolio material, job listings and other content you upload. By posting content, you grant Kalakaar Chowk a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome

Kalakaar Chowk does not guarantee that Artists will be hired or that Recruiters will find suitable talent. We do not verify every claim made by users in their profiles or listings, and users are encouraged to exercise their own judgement before entering into any arrangement.

7. Fees

Core registration and browsing on Kalakaar Chowk is free. Certain premium features (such as featured listings or subscriptions) may be introduced in the future and will carry their own pricing, which will be clearly disclosed before purchase. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, with or without notice, at our discretion.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kalakaar Chowk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, or from any interaction, agreement, or transaction between Artists and Recruiters.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
